  • bullying
  • physical health
  • general mental health

Are there support groups?

Yes, support groups can help you understand you’re not alone and there are other people going through similar things. They enable you to work through your issues with an empathetic group, share stories and solutions. Ultimately, support groups build a network to help you live your life.

headspace Bendigo runs a weekly diversity group for people aged 12 to 25.

The group is also open to friends and allies, aged 12 to 25.

Although primarily for LGBTIQ+ people, the group welcomes any young person who may not be comfortable in the main stream. The group provides a safe space where people can be themselves, meet others, have some fun and participate in community activities that celebrate diversity.
